Wizard Controls
On the bottom of each page are several buttons you can click to navigate:
navigates to the previous page.
navigates to the next page.
saves a draft version of the Application so you can return to it at a later time.
cancels the Application.
Step 1 - Petition Type
Select the type of relief you are applying for.
Note: Once you progress to the next step, you can not change the Petition Type. If you chose the wrong petition type, please Cancel the current application and start a new one.
Petition Type must be selected to move on to the next step.
Step 2 - License
Select license you wish to apply for relief for. You may only select one license per petition application. Only licenses eligible for the relief type (i.e. petition type) will appear in the grid.
Note: Once you progress to the next step, you will no longer be able to modify the license for which this application is for. If you chose the wrong license, please Cancel the current application and start a new one.
Step 3 - Terms

Details about the license you selected in the previous step
CURRENT RELIEF TERMS
If the license has any previously granted or requested terms, it will be shown in a grid here. If no terms exist for the license, a message will display as such.
REQUEST RELIEF TERMS
New terms can be requested by clicking the Add Term button. The term period will automatically be calculated based on the existing granted and requested relief terms.
Click Remove Term to remove the latest term on the application.
Terms may only be modified on the latest petition application. If you have multiple petition draft applications open for the same license, you will not be able to add or remove terms on the older draft applications.
FEES
If a change in requested terms causes a change in fees, it will be reflected in the fees section. Note that this is only an estimated fee total. Actual fee total may differ when end of application is reached.
Step 4 - Questions
A series of questions may be required for you to answer. You must answer all questions before continuing with the application.
Step 5 - Documents
Supporting documents can be uploaded to your application here. Certain document types may be required in order to submit your application successfully to NJ ABC
Errors
If there are any errors in your application, they will be displayed to you at this point. You will be required to rectify these issues before you can proceed to the application submission page.
Final Step - Submission
You must read and acknowledge the disclaimer before proceeding.
Once the disclaimer has been acknowledged, you must enter your Full Name before submitting the application.
If no fees are present, a Submit Application button will be available for you to submit your application immediately.
If fees are present, you can refer to the Payment page for more information on how to pay fees and submit applications.
Confirmation
After the application is submitted, a confirmation page will be shown.
The processing of the Petition will now be done by the New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control. You will receive notification when the Petition has been completed.
Submitted applications are listed under PETITIONS IN REVIEW on the Petition Menu.
